No idea about you but Shimmery, Glittery, Duo Chrome Shadows are my most favorite eyeshadows, even though I work with mattes most of the time. Pixelated Color Eye Shadow Palette by Japonesque is under spot light today . Read more to find out my thoughts about it.
Pixelated Color Eye Shadow Palette : Pixelated Color Eye Shadow is Japonesque Color’s most multidimensional formula. Blend these micronized color pigments effortlessly onto outer eye corners for a deep, light-catching, color-shifting gradient. The Pixelated Eye Shadow Palette includes everything you need to conquer the cut crease: three exclusive Pro Basic shades to pair with Pixelated Eye Shadow.
My Thoughts : The Pixelated Color Collection delivers high resolution pigments in smooth , comfortable formulas that refract across the prismatic scale in a truly modern, opalescent finish. Palette includes 10 baked eyeshadows, which are full size.It comes with 4 Pro Basics shades. Those are not mattes, I would say velvety satin finish shades and 6 shades are Pixelated Color.
Honestly I am in love with this palette and all the shadows,Performance of this palette is the BOMB.The color payoff is so impressive on the hand and also on the lids with wet or dry brush , I used these shadows without primer and the end result was amazing. I don’t experience any major fallout, even with the darker shades, but there is a little bit of fall out which is normal for any glittery shades. Japonesque did a great job with the formula, all the shades are very smooth and silky without being chalky. All the pro shades are light on skin because I am a brown skin person. The lightest in pigmentation is the brown shade, which is also a little on the firm side but it works well as a crease blending shade. everypixelated color are very long wearing and has great pigmentation , but I found the pixelated shadows crease without primer. I dont mind about it as it works very nice with primer. I found the packaging is really sleek and travel friendly, I only wish that the palette had one or two lighter pixelated shades which can be used for the day time. Now I agree that the palette has 4 pro basic shades and those two lighter shades are perfect for the lid for the day time, but pixelated shadows are simply die for. I have no complain about this palette as its not so expensive, and all the shades are nice. I use synthetic brush to apply the shades on my lid and these shadows can be used wet and dry.
Swatches are below, all the shades swatch with dry finger and without primer.
